19th Pakistan Gems and minerals show held

Senator Noman Wazir has said that there is potential of gems and minerals while the Federal government led by Pakistan tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) is keen to promote this sector.
He addressing an inauguration ceremony gems and minerals 2-day exhibition held here in Islamabad. The exhibition was organized by All Pakistan Commercial Exporters Association (APCEA).
The senator expressed his pleasure over knowing about the potential of this important sector and said that the extremely dejected and neglected sector having the potential to turn around the trade-deficit of Pakistan under the existing management of APCEA.
Mr Wazir reiterated that the PTI government would extend its full support to enhance the gemstone export and provide maximum facilities to gemstone traders. The senator, therefore, thanked the APCEA management for inviting him for such an important event.
Earlier, Eng Manzoor Elahi, a Chairman APCEA, Haji Mamoor Khan, patron-in-chief and Haji Dost Muhammad said that it was 19th edition of Pakistan gems and minerals show, being held by APCEA. In the exhibition, they informed that semi-precious rough and polished stones have been placed to attract the visitors towards this trade in order to promote this sector.
It is worth mentioning here that in the exhibition, the businessmen affiliated with gems and minerals across the country have established their stalls, in which majority of them are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)
