Entire Sindh plaguing with corruption: Justice Gulzar

Justice of Supreme Court (SC) Gulzar Ahmed in his remarks said that the HIV has made a condition in Larkana worse and nobody in the province to look into the matter. The SC divisional bench in the chair of Justice Gulzar Ahmed heard the Sukkur press club land case.
Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that the multistorey buildings have been constructed in the hottest city of Sukkur but no facilities provided adding that there is no city around the world where multistorey buildings are constructed in the cities having high temperatures of more 50-degree centigrade. The head of the bench went on to say that drinking water is not available to citizens of Sukkur where “people sleep without electricity” while he said that “people deprive of basic facilities turn to violence and the trend increases the rate of crimes.”
Addressing the Mayor of the Sukkur city, which was present in the court on the occasion, Justice Gulzar said: “you should wake up now.” Over which the Mayor responded that he has made the master plan of the city.
To which Justice Gulzar said that “let your master plan go to hell, you people are part of the system and you know what the system is.”
Over the course of the hearing, the SC judge remarked every department of the Sindh province is suffering from corruption. “Not a single rupee of Sindh’s budget is spent on the public for whom there is nothing in the province,” he lamented
