Feasibility design of 1.2 KM Hazara motorway Abbottabad interchange approved

Commissioner Hazara Syed Zaheer ul Islam Tuesday approved the proposed area and feasibility design of 1.2 kilometer long Hazara Motorway Abbottabad interchange in a meeting with CPEC Chinese engineers and local authorities.
In the meeting documents related to the proposed design and cost of the interchange were presented which were jointly prepared by the Chinese engineers, National Highway Authority (NHA), KPHA, C&W and revenue department on the special directives of commissioner Hazara.
Syed Zaheer ul Islam declared the proposed area for Abbottabad interchange the most suitable place for the citizens of Abbottabad and also admired the efforts of all concerned who have prepared the feasibility report of Hazara motorway Abbottabad interchange in such a short time.
He also assured participants of the meeting that he himself would present the report to provincial government to include the project in upcoming fiscal budget’s developmental programme.
The commissioner informed the committee that provincial Civil and Works department has already agreed with the proposal of Abbottabad interchange.
He expressed satisfaction on the design of interchange which would not affect the residential or commercial areas of Abbottabad, the proposed design includes a long bridge on a watercourse.
In the meeting besides CPEC Chinese engineering staff, NHA, KPHA, revenue and other concerned local authorities representatives were present.
