At least five people were killed and six others injured in armed clash between two rival groups over property dispute here in the provincial capital on Saturday.
Police said that Amjad Group had shot injured a member of Rafaqat Group a couple of days earlier and the police have called to Police Post Wahga to settle the dispute.
On the way to police station, armed men of both groups traded fire in Batapur area of Lahore.
Five people including Amjad 40, Imran 35, Ijaz 30, Zafar 35, and another was killed in the cross firing while six others were injured. Police said that 9MM and 30 bore pistols were used in firing.
The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police after registering a case against armed men of both groups have started an investigation.
