ICT Police arrested 12 outlaws including seven gambles

Recovered wine, stake money and other valuables from them

ISLAMABAD
Islamabad police have arrested 12 outlaws including seven gambles and recovered wine, stake money and other valuables from them, a police spokesman said.
On a tip off about gambling activities at a plaza in area of Bhar Kau, police team headed by DSP Bhara Kau Muhammad Safeer and including SHO Inspector Athar Khan, ASI Aashiq Hussain raided there and nabbed four persons along recovery of stake money from them. They have been identified as Ashrat, Bahadur Khan, Afzal Khan and Safeer Khan.
Likewise, Sihala police team led by DSP (Rural) Malik Naeem Iqbal raided another gambling den and arrested three gamblers identified as Gulzar, Asghar and Arif besides recovering stake money from them.
Meanwhile, two other accused Abdul Razaaq and Sohail were held for having one wine bottle each. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Azam from CIA police arrested Adnan and Ausaf for involvement in street crime and recovered snatched money as well as mobile phones from them.
Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all SHOs to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
