KMU announced MBBS and BDS 2nd Professional Annual Exams 2018 Results

Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar announced MBBS and BDS 2nd Professional Annual Examinations 2018 results. In the said exams total 2147 students of all affiliated public and private sector medical and dental colleges of the province were appeared in which1540 declared successful. The overall passing ratio of MBBS was 75 % whereas that of BDS was 57 percent.
According to the gazette notification issued by Examination Section of KMU in the said MBBS 2nd professional exam Shahrain Shams of Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar secured 607 marks and stood first, Faryal Masaud and Gul Rukh Noreen of Khyber Medical College Peshawar with 603 marks obtained jointly second position and Ahmad Irtaza of the same college grabbed third position.
Where as in the BDS 2nd professional exam Aiman Manan of Dental Section Bacha Khan Medical College Mardan got first position while securing 664 marks and Muqanza Jehanzeb of Rehman Dental Peshawar secured second position with getting 662 marks and Salka Urooj of Dental Section Ayub Medical College Abbottabad and Faizan Bilal Malik of Rehman Dental College Peshawar joint clinched third position by obtaining 656 marks.
Vice Chancellor KMU Prof. Dr. Arshad Javaid has congratulated all the successful students especially the position holders and wished that they will also continue their efforts for obtaining brilliant results in the upcoming examinations.
He also appreciated the efforts carried out by the Examination Section of the University under the dynamic leadership of acting Controller of Exam Mr. Nasir Saleem Arab for ensuring declaration of both the results in the speculated time period and by maintaining the strict secrecy and transparency in the examination section.
He hoped that Examination Section will never compromise on merit and transparency and would continue its hard work for timely declaration of all the relevant results with the same zeal and commitment.
