KP budget review meeting endorses disbursement of 54% funding

A high level meeting held here Friday reviewed the implementations on provincial budget 2018-19 and it was informed that Rs. 335,249 million have been released to the government departments till date.
The report of the review meeting stated that so far 54 per cent of the total budget have been disbursed to the departments for utilization. The total volume of KP budget is amounting to Rs. 618,000 million for 2018-19.
Of the total disbursement of funds made so far by the KP government Rs. 196,273 million have been paid under the expenditure head which comes to 59 percent of the total allocations.
The Secondary Education Department has been provided Rs. 11,145 million out of total allocations of Rs.22,740 million whereas Higher Education Department has been provided Rs. 15,439 million out of total allocations of Rs. 18,798 million.
Similarly, C&W has been provided Rs. 12,296 million out of total allocations of Rs. 22,607 million. Department of Environment has been issued Rs. 6,550 million out of total allocations of Rs. 6,986 million.
The department of industries has been released Rs. 3,420 million out of total allocations of Rs. 4,824 million. The Local Government has been provided Rs. 5,131 million out of total allocations of Rs.11,701 million whereas Finance Deparment has been provided Rs.142,332 million out of total allocations of Rs. 310,230 million.
The department of P&D and Energy have been provided Rs.2,575 million out of total allocations of Rs.13,003 million whereas Home department has been provided Rs.48,246 million out of total allocations Rs. 55,293 million, the review report stated.
