KP politicians, economists term PM’s visit to China highly successful

People of every walk of life including politicians, economists, civil society and academicians here Thursday termed the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to brotherly country China was highly successful and inclusive in all respect.
MPA Momina Basit told APP that Prime Minister Imran Khan visit of China remained highly successful and the agreements and MoUs inked during this historic visit would help bring economic prosperity in the country besides generate employment opportunities for youth. She said people of Pakistan would see a real change in days to come.
She said PM Imran Khan has boldly highlighted regional and international issues besides Pakistan’s view point during his addresses that was appreciated at world level.
The PTI leader said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a game changer for economy, employment, and development of both the countries.
Momona Basit said efforts are being made to use CPEC for welfare of people of Pakistan and soon human resource development and social developmental projects would also be started.
While talking about the governmental policies, she said that Govt have started many projects for youth including education, health and employment. “We are also planning for skill development of women and full advantage would be taken from their skills regarding preparation of handicrafts and home made articles.”
Momina Basit said she was working tirelessly for development of working women and street children and would also present her recommendations to the federal and provincial governments for their wellbeing.
She said Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has successfully delivered in all fields during last five years in KP and the party would perform duties with more dedication and professional zeal in centre, Punjab and KP under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Member National Assembly, Nasir Khan Musazai has also declared PM Imran Khan visit highly successful.
He said agreements and MoU were signed in different field during the visit and praised leadership of PM Imran Khan for boldly projecting Pakistan’s point of view on regional and international issues.
He said Pakistan and China relations are deep-rooted and higher than Himalayan mountains with commonalities of views on most of regional and international issues and would further be strengthened during PTI Govt tenure.
Senior economist and financial expert, Muhammad Naeem said PM Imran Khan’s visit to China will bolster economic cooperation to new heights and strategic partnership between the two countries and misunderstanding that was created by propagandist elements regarding CPEC has been removed.
Retired Information Officer Bahadar Khan and economist Sumbul Riaz have also termed PM visit successful. They said PM Imran Khan had met with top leadership of China and discussed bilateral relationship and other regional and international issues with them. They said both the countries understand significance of CPEC as this project carried immense importance not only for both the countries but for the entire region.
