KTH denies media reports about arrest of its employee in illegal kidneys’ transplantation

The spokesperson of MTI Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) Peshawar here Thursday while clarifying a news item appeared in a section of media about Shoaib Khan’s involvement in illegal transplantation of kidneys stated that there was no such facility of kidney transplant available in the hospital.
In a clarification statement issue here Thursday, the spokesman stated that “as for as KTH is concerned there is no such transplant facility available in this hospital nor conducted any kidney transplant procedure till date.”
He clarified Shoaib Khan was an employee of the hospital and was relieved by the hospital management in December 2018, being a civil servant and put his services on the disposal of Director General Health Services Government of KP.
The spokesperson recalled that the management has already contradicted the said news which was published and viral on social media through a video massage some time back.
It merits a mention here that FIA had arrested accused Muhammad Shoaib Khan allegedly being ring leader running an illegal transplantation of kidneys centre.
