Media Press Corps building inaugurated at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Karim Khan inaugurated the new Media Press Corps at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines Peshawar here on Thursday.
The CCPO said the purpose of the Media Press Corps is to ensure timely delivery and publication of certified and comprehensive news.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Zahoor Babar Afridi, Superintendent of Police (SP) Media Press Corps Syed Inayat Ali Shah, Superintendent of Police (SP) Headquarters Abdul Salam Khalid along with other police officers and journalists were present on the occasion. Karim Khan said Media is an important pillar of the state whose resources have helped to end social evils.
The CCPO said acclaiming the courage and bravery of the journalists, he said that journalists have also played a key role in the elimination of corruption in society.
He said to make information sharing between police and journalists more robust and active a press corps team has been formed by the police through which journalists will receive timely and credible news.

CCPO Mohammad Karim Khan said that the link between journalists and police will be stronger after police establish a press media core.
He added that the role of journalists in eradicating evil from society, establishing law and order and identifying criminal elements is worthy of praise.
SP Syed Inayat Ali Shah briefed the newly established media press corps, saying that the purpose of the media press corps is to ensure timely delivery and publication of certified and comprehensive news.
He said facebook, twitter and whatsapp have been inaugurated on social media to highlight the positive identity of the police.
He said referring to the media press corps’ utility, he said that it would be possible to get timely and instant news.
