Misappropriation of funds in sindh:Court orders to submit projects detail

KARACHI (INP) :Sindh High Court has sought Sindh government response within a week over corruption of Rs 90 billion.
A hearing of case regarding misappropriation in Rs 90 billion issued for development projects was held in the SHC.
Applicant in the case argued that the funds which were issued to Larkana and Shahdad Kot were misappropriated by Faryal Talpur, Ayaz Soomro and others.
At the occasion, additional advocate general Sindh Mustafa Mahesar declared the applicant allegations false and baseless and argued that the applicant on someone’s instructions was black mailing the provincial government, henceforth, the petition be quashed.
The SHC said that the matter is serious, hence, details of development work carried out in the mentioned two districts of the province be submitted in the court within a week.
SHC CJ remarked that PPP has ruled Sindh for five years and did not spare Larkana from corruption. He said that he has witnessed destructive condition of roads by himself.
