Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen has paid rich tributes to popular militant commander Zakir Musa saying despite having difference with his style of functioning and ideology, the reality is that Zakir Musa was enthusiastic about Kashmir Freedom Movement and in taking on Indian armed forces.
The outfit Chief Syed Salahuddin said that: “the era of suppression will be over and the sacred blood of martyrs will definitely show true color.”
While paying tributes to young commander Zakir Musa, the Hizb Chief Syed Salahuddin said that despite having differences with his ideology, Zakir Musa fought against Indian forces and preferred martyrdom over surrender for sake of freedom and Islam.
“The reality is that people of Kashmir are fighting against Indian rule while history is witness to the fact that how India promised plebiscite and then backtracked. “There was no need to fight a war, if India would have provided an opportunity to the people of Kashmir to decide about their fate,” he said adding that struggle will continue till taken to logical conclusion.
Rich tributes were paid to slain militants as well as to Zahoor Ahmed, the brother of an active militant who according to organization was killed by Indian Army in cold blood.
Tehreek-e-Huriyat Jammu Kashmir chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai while paying rich tributes to Commander Zakir Musa, said that despite highly educated and an engineering student, he stood for the freedom movement of Jammu Kashmir. “His sacrifice infused a high spirit in ongoing movement in Jammu Kashmir,” added Sehrai.
Hailing his invaluable and exemplary sacrifices, “for freedom movement in Jammu Kashmir , Sehrai said that he stood firm for Islam and never followed any sectarian ideology ,instead pursued a mission to see the glorification of Islam in Jammu Kashmir.
“I pay my salute to this legend “Sehrai said and added that despite a budding youth and highly educated, Zakir Musa proved a “mature and dedicated warrior” saying we are committed to the mission for whom he and his associate sacrificed their lives.”
Sehrai said the sacrifices rendered by martyrs infused a new life in resistance movement.
Condemning the forces action against militant’s families Sehrai said that “repressive measures, killing relatives of militants and intimidating them is deplorable”. “None of the international laws pertaining to war permit any such military action against unarmed civilians and militants,” he said.
Chairman said these “unjustified” actions are aimed at “building pressure on the freedom loving people as well as on the mujahedeen commanders to succumb before the Indian military might”.
Sehrai said that militancy is the reaction of New Delhi’s “obduracy” and denial of right to self-determination to the people of Kashmir.
