DIKHAN: The consumers of WAPDA Rural Sub-Division Monday staged a protest against over billing and undue fines being sent in monthly bill and asked PESCO chief and federal government to take notice of the issue. The consumers said that PESCO local officials send thousands of rupees undue fines in the monthly bills to show recoveries thus making life miserable for the poor people. The protesters said that those are being charged who are paying their bills every month while influential people are using electricity directly from wapda polls without any fear. They warned that if PESCO officials would not stop over billing and fine in monthly bill they would ultimately take to street.
