PITB to train 100 students under E Rozgar Program

Punjab Information Technology Board has established a state of the art computer laboratory to train 100 students under E Rozgar Program.
The e Rozgar Center was inaugurated by Samiullah Chaudhary, Ministry Food Punjab during a grand ceremony at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob Vice Chancellor, Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Director General Information Technology Board Punjab Sajid Latif were also present on this occasion.
The Provincial Minister said that present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan is keen to equip youth with the latest knowledge to compete globally. As many as 40 e Rozgar Centers have been setup across the Punjab in 36 districts. Engr Prof Dr Athar Mahboob Vice Chancellor in his address said that Punjab Information Technology Board has agreed to establish 4 e Rozgar centres in four Campuses including Abbasia campus and two sub campuses in Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan.
Each centre has capacity to train 100 students at a time having an attached business incubation centre to encourage business start ups. These labs will also facilitate university students providing opportunity to have practical knowledge. Director IT Islamia University of Bahawalpur Rizwan Majeed, Ahmad Islam Senior Manager ERozgar , faculty and students were present in large number.
