PPP chieftain’s arrest sparks protests in Badin district

The protest was broke out in the several towns and cities of district Badin against according to them an illegal confinement of the former President Asif Ali Zardari, who was arrested over money laundering cases.
Mr. Zardari was arrested on Monday after his bail application was rejected in connection with a high-profile money laundering case.
PPP Badin chapter’s local leaders and workers including Member of Provincial Assembly, Haji Taj Mohammad Mallah, Sspecial Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh, Pir Noorullah Qureshi, Sain Bux Jamali, General Secretary PPP Badin, Fida Hussain Mandhro, Abdul Ghafoor Nizamani, Amir Hassan Khoso, Dr. Abdul Aziz Khaskheli, Sajida Talpur and others led the held a protest demonstration outside the Press Club in Badin here on Tuesday.
While addressing the protesting party workers PPP local leaders said that PTI’s led Federal Govt despite to run govt affairs properly turned against its opponents and rivalry.
They said that former President of Pakistan and PPP co-chairman’s arrest was among the rival attempt adding that NAB was become a political machine which was being used against opponents only.
They said that all charges of corruption or money laundering held over Mr. Asif Ali Zardari were fake and baseless adding they stressed to PTI’s led Federal Govt to withdraw over fake and fabricated cases over PPP chieftain.
Other hand security was put on high alert in the district with heavy contingent of Rangers and Police to face any untoward situation in the district.
