Quetta Gladiators lost because four foreign players pulled out: Viv Richards

LAHORE: Head coach for Pakistan Super League team Quetta Gladiators Vivian Richards said that his team lost the final as four of its foreign players pulled out last minute.
“The new players had not practised with us,” the former West Indies cricketer said speaking to Media while playing golf at a private facility.
In a comment on the recent PSL spot fixing scandal he said that in his times cricket was considered a “gentleman’s game”. “Match fixing is wrong. The new money in the game of cricket has changed its dynamics,” he said.
About his cricketing years he said he admired former Pakistani players Javed Miandad and Imran Khan.
In a candid moment he said he loved mutton and tries it when he visits any country. “Not getting mutton is always disappointing,” he laughed.
