Special cleanliness drive launched in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Minister Local Government Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Shahram Khan Tarakai launched a special cleanliness drive in Peshawar on Friday. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Shahram Tarakai said the drive will be participated by more than 7000 workers including youth, volunteers and social media activists. Disposing off the wastes of sacrificial animals on Eid-ul-Azha is a major task to be handled by the local government, he added. The Provincial Minister said 20 million rupees have been allocated to give reward to workers in acknowledgement of their performance. Tarakai also appealed the people to cooperate with the workers in order to make this drive successful. INP
