A three-day training on “Capacity Building of Women in Leadership Roles in Academia” has started at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University on Tuesday.
The training is being organized by SBBWU with supported of US Mission Pakistan in partnership with Pakistan-US Alumni Network (PUAN).
The purpose of the training was to enhance the leadership and management skills of females in administrative roles in the academia through trainings by the distinguished resource persons.
Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor, SBBWU and Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak, Professor, Department of English Language and literature, University of Peshawar were among the key speakers.
Speaking on the occasion VC SBBWU said that the varsity has been working earnestly for the development of women of KP for more than a decade. The training on women leadership skills shows dedication and commitment of the university towards this cause.
“We extend deep appreciation to the US Mission Pakistan and PUAN for joining hands with our university and supporting the efforts for promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women in KP.”
This training will provide a platform to the participants to share their experiences and open unlimited realms of discourse for future endeavors.
