Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said “providing security to people of FATA is the top most priority of the incumbent Government.” He added, “the Government is well aware of the difficulties facing by people of FATA and concrete steps are being taken to resolve the problems of the people of FATA.”
He was talking to a delegation of South Waziristan Agency led by MNA Jamal-ud-Din which called on him here at Governor’s House, Peshawar on Friday. The delegation apprised the Governor about some of the problems being faced by the people of respective area. They welcomed the steps being taken by the Government for uplifting the standards of life of people of FATA.
While commending the role of Pakistan Army, security forces and tribal people, the Governor said, “due to operation Zarb-e-Azb, peace has been restored in FATA and now it’s the responsibility of the local community to check the militant factors.” The Governor listened to their viewpoint and suggestions and assured resolving of their problems.
