The President of Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) Mr. Arif Nizami and Secretary General Dr. Jabbar Khattak expressed their deep sorrow and condolence to Mir Shakeel ur Rehman, Editor in Chief, Jang and Geo Media Group on sad demise of his sister and pray for eternal rest and peace of departed soul. They also prayed for devine courage of grieved family to face these hard moments.
Mr. Nizami reiterated that Mir Shakeel ur Rehman was currently behind the bar on extra judicial charge, meanwhile demise of his sister was not an easy time for him.
He also appealed on humanitarian grounds to PM Pakistan, Supreme Judiciary and higher authorities for immediate release of MSR to participate in funerals of his beloved sister.
