Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) has attracted influx of women, children, youth and persons with disabilities passengers.
Great rush of passengers were being witnessed on BRT buses since August 13 on which Prime Minister Imran Khan has inagurated the mega project for general public.
“I traveled in BRT on Monday upto Hayatabad and found the facilities in its buses were outstanding,” said Khurshid Khan who was an employee of a public sector corporation told APP.
He said like him, thousands of special persons have started travelling in BRT for whom special seats were reserved.
Khurshid Khan said free Wifi and mobile charging service besides ZU ticketing system was amazing.
He said BRT was a modern transport service with 220 hybrid and airconditoned buses and urged people to wait for their turn its stations by avoiding unnecessary rush.
The women passengers were also attracted by BRT in large numbers who were comfortably visiting to their workplaces with ease.
They termed BRT was a great gift of PTI Government for people of Peshawar and expressed the hope for starting such service in DIKhan, Mardan and Abbottabad districts in future.
