ISLAMABAD : Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shahbaz Sharif and JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman have agreed on devising a joint strategy during a meeting here.
PML-N leader led by Shahbaz Sharif and comprising Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Ayyaz Sadiq and Khawaja Asif reached residence of Maulana Fazl ur Rehman.
Matters including convening of APC came under discussion during the meeting between Maulan Fazl and Shahbaz. The matter how to narrow distance between opposition parties also came into consideration.
Addressing the joint press conference after meeting Shahbaz said we will unite all parties and make consultations. We all will sit together and convene APC.
He asserted APC will be held at all cost. We will make consultations in this regard in the meeting of Rahbar committee.
Maulana Fazl said future strategy will be evolved through mutual consultations. It is need of hour we should allay each other reservations. The meeting of small parties has been postponed due to death of Hasil Bazenjo. There is consensus over launching anti government movement.
He said Imran Khan is man of the year due to incompetence and ill performance. He is the most incompetent ruler in the history of Pakistan.
