Resignation from assemblies on the card, Haider Khan

Awami National Party (ANP) central vice president Amir Haider Khan Hot has said that its party stands firm with Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) an alliance of opposition parties, and will follow every possible decision in letter and spirit.
Addressing officials and members of the Balochistan High Court Bar Association in Quetta, here on Friday Amir Haider Khan Hoti revealed that if the leadership of the PDM agreed over the decision of resignation from provincial and national assembly ANP will also do the same without any reservation, adding that ANP will support the moment of the opposition parties till the last moment.
There should be a new charter of democracy which should include the issues of government, state, provinces, federation, institutions, and people with appropriate representation of all provinces and all political parties. He said that unfortunately the opposition has been divided during the last two years and did not manage to chalk out a pragmatic plan to give a tough time to the incumbent government.
Claiming tall claims of transparency and rule of law before the last general election of 2018, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government failed to verify only 56,000 votes from one constituency, he added.
Haider Khan said that at present all the strong voices are being suppressed in Pakistan on the direction of Imran Khan, adding that the case of Qazi Faiz Issa is a clear example of the overall situation of Pakistan. He said that the issue pertaining to missing persons in the country is becoming more serious day by day. If people are picked up illegally, the distance between the state and the people will continue to grow which will have serious consequences for the state.
The sense of deprivation of Balochistan could have been eradicated from China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) but the opportunity was spoiled by the PTI government, adding that western route has also been dumped on the backburner by the present government.
