Pakhtunkhwa Super Cricket League-2020 to start from Oct 22 in Mardan

The first edition of the Pakhtunkhwa Khan Super Cricket Twenty20 League-2020 is commencing at Mardan Sports Complex from October 22, former Test cricketer Riaz Afridi told a press conference here at the Media Center of the Qayyum Sports Complex on Wednesday.
He said, preparations for the Pakhtunkhwa Super League-2020 have been completed and the unveiling of the competition kits and trophies will be held in Mardan on October 22, former Test cricketers and tournament organizer Riaz Afridi has announced.
He said that 12 teams including Muslim Hands Mirpur Azad Kashmir, Peshawar Eagle, Nowshera Shaheen, Cake Palace, County Dolphin, Swat Academy, Afghan Commissioner ate, Khyber Izmari, Dir Baryali and JUI Tigers will participate in the competitions.
The 12 teams will be divided into two groups, details of which will be shared in a media briefing soon. Riaz Afridi said that the tournament would be officially started from October 28 at Jamrud Cricket Ground.
He added that Pakistan’s proud batsmen including Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam, Fakhr Zaman, Yasir Shah, Junaid. Khan, Umar Gul, Khurram Shehzad, Salman Butt and many other world-renowned players have expressed good wishes for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Super League.

The history of the province is bigger and the Mega Pakhtunkhwa Super League Twenty20 Cricket Cup is starting simultaneously from November 28 in Peshawar and Khyber District in which twelve best teams of the country are participating.
Arrangements for the event have been completed. Director Organizing Team Sabit Khan, Manager Imranullah and Mohammad Amin were also present on the occasion. There was a strong desire to hold a great Super League Cricket Cup for our players, especially the cricketers, and to provide them with an excellent platform in which, thank God, success has been ensured.
He gave details of the event and said that there were a total of 12 teams in two different groups. The semi-finals would be played in two teams from each group. The date of the final will be decided later. The organizing committee will decide on the matches that have been postponed due to rain and other reasons.
The winning team will be given a cash prize of Rs. 600,000 in cash and Rs. 300,000 will be given to the runners-up. Prizes will also be given to the man of the match, best player, wicket keeper and batsman. He said that teams are coming from all over the country who have made their confirmation. “We have also planned the best accommodation, security, food and drink arrangements for all the teams. “No player will have any problem and the matches will be played in Jamrud and Sarband Peshawar. Finally, he said that all the teams would be given warm-welcome in Mardan in the opening ceremony.
