PESHAWAR : Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party, Muhammad Faiq Shah has called for revisiting National Action Plan, which should be implemented with true letter and spirit in order strengthen and improve overall security in the country.

Chairing a meeting here at the party’s central secretariat on Friday, Faiq Shah said that the enemy wants to jeopardize peace and bring instability, lawlessness in Pakistan.

The ATP chairman stressed that peace is essential for sustainable economic growth and development as well as address social and injustice issues in the country. He said that it is a prerequisite to pull out Pakistan from the constant pressure of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

If we talk about attracting foreign investment or improving the country’s dignity and status in the rest of the world, Pakistan needs to fully adhere with international laws and relevant covenants, says Faiq Shah. He said the foes are taking advantage of current political instability, confrontation at provincial and regional level so that would pave the way for execution of their nefarious designs and Pakistan’s hostile agenda.

Therefore, he emphasized that all institutions should formulate a unified and concrete policy to address the country’s challenges on internal and external fronts.

India is amassing arms and ammunition, which could create an imbalance of power in the region, Faiq Shah. He added that the world powers should take notice of the growing policing and authoritarian role in the region.

The party leader said the country’s economy is rapidly melting down, so the civil and military leadership should come to one page and make consolidated efforts to address the key issues of Pakistan.

Condemning the miscalculating and disinformation about Pak-Saudi ties, Faiq Shah called it as fictional and untruthful, asking for removal of this impression forthwith. He stressed the need for further strengthening relations with friendly countries.

We always gave priority to Pakistan’s prosperity, development and people welfare, for which an organized movement is being carried out across the country, Faiq Shah said.
