KP’s health department approves service rules for paramedics

The long-standing problem of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) paramedics fraternity has been resolved as the provincial government approved the new service rules for the paramedics which will enable their up-gradation in the service.
As per the notification, issued by the KP health department the new service rules the paramedics will have the rights of promotion from grade 12 to 20.
The President of the provincial paramedics association Roedad Shah said that the paramedics thanked the Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, Provincial Health and Finance Minister Timur Saleem Jhagra, and other health department officials for approving the new service rules, adding that the decision of new service rules, the long-standing demand of paramedics staff has been met.
Describing the approval of the new service rules as a good move by the present provincial government, he said that it would address the frustrations of paramedics and help improve the services provided in government hospitals.
