Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its brotherly relations with Bosnia & Herzegovina, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said this during a meeting with Chairman of Presidency of Bosnia & Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic here at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Thursday.
The Army Chief said that Pakistan is proud of the strong bond of love and support between the people of two countries, said the ISPR. They discussed regional security and Pakistan Bosnia relations. They discussed enhanced bilateral cooperation in various fields including defence, technical expertise and joint ventures.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations.
Earlier, on arrival at the GHQ, the visiting dignitary was presented a guard of honour. He laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage to martyrs.
