Land dispute case:
ISLAMABAD, December 17 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed IG Police to probe into allegations of harassing the petitioner by investigation officer in the case pertaining to land dispute between citizens and involvement of district court reader.
IHC Chief Justice (CJ) took up the case for hearing Thursday.
CJ IHC remarked “the court is not satisfied with the proceedings of investigation officer. The standard of the investigation is not what court expects. IG should present inquiry report on next hearing in the court through senior officer.
The petitioner has alleged investigation officer F aiz Gondal of pressurizing him. It is observed that fraud is committed with overseas Pakistanis. In this case it is alleged a reader of district court is also involved therein.
The court while summoning inquiry report adjourned the hearing of the case for one week.
