Court orders ANF to provide legible copies of witnesses statements to the accused persons

Drugs case against Rana Sana Ullah:
LAHORE, Jan 23 (Online): Special Judge Anti Narcotics Court (ANC) while ordering to provide transparent copies of the statements recorded by the witnesses in drugs case against PML-N leader Rana Sana Ullah to the defence counsel has adjourned the hearing of the case till February 04.

Rana Sana Ullah was present in the court during the hearing of the case Saturday.

The court was to indict Rana Sana Ullah and other accused but they could not be indicted due to non availability of transparent copies of statements of the witnesses.

The court ordered ANF should provide readable copies to all the accused and in case the copies are received by them then the accused could be inducted on next hearing.

The counsel for Rana Sana Ullah raised the objection over non provision of transparent copies of the statements of the witnesses to the accused .

The prosecutor took the plea copies have been provided to defence counsel.

The defence counsel raised the objection that the copies provided to him are not legible.
