Nation needs to know what was “settled” on Dawn Leaks, issue was never about army & government. It was about national security
ISLAMABAD
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday announced that he would produce before the Supreme Court the money trail for the purchase and sale of the London flat.
In a series of tweets, the PTI chief said he would also show proof that his Bani Gala house plans were approved by Union Council of Mora Noor before construction.
Taking aim at the country’s ruling family, the cricketer-turned-politician said there would be no “Qatari letter drama” in both the London flat and Bani Gala house cases, alluding to a letter by former Qatari prince which the ruling family presented in the Supreme Court during the hearing of Panama Papers case.
Nation needs to know what was “settled” on Dawn Leaks: Imran Calling for the release of Dawn Leak’s inquiry report, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said the nation needs to know what was “settled” between the army and govt.
“Dawn Leaks issue was never about army & government. It was about national security. The whole nation now needs to know what was “settled”,” Khan said in his first response about the Dawn Leaks which amicably resolved by the army and civilian government.
DG ISPR Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor withdrew his tweet on Dawn Leak’s notification while the interior ministry issued a new notification, including Senator Pervaiz Rashid’s name in the statement.
Imran Khan argued that Hillary Clinton said she lost because of security issue over her email leaks.
“Here nation is kept in dark on how national security breach has been resolved. The manner in which Dawn Leak issue resolved shows clearly there is one law for the powerful and another law for the weak,” he said.
