ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and India have agreed to make efforts to address the issues pertaining to Indus Water Treaty besides conducing tours of inspection. Foreign Office has said that Pakistan and India have agreed to make endeavors to resolve issues relating to the Indus Water Treaty and conduct tours of inspection. As per media reports this was said in a foreign office statement. The statement said officials of Pakistan and India, during the meeting of Pakistan-India Permanent Indus Commission in New Delhi also agreed to hold next meeting in Pakistan. As per the statement, under the relevant provisions of the Indus Waters Treaty, the meeting is held annually alternately in Pakistan and India. The Pakistan side was led by Commissioner for Indus Waters Syed Muhammad Mehar Ali Shah. Online
