The All Pakistan Business Forum, while condemning the continued Israeli aggression against innocent Palestinians, called for a complete end to the genocide of Palestinians, besides a peaceful resolution of the issue on permanent basis.
“The APBF strongly condemns the continued Israeli military attacks on the Gaza Strip which causes Palestinian civilian casualties, including children and women, and destruction of civilian property and infrastructure,” said the APBF President Syed Maaz Mahmood. He called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for the war crimes committed in the course of its aggression in May 2021 and before.
He said that the APBF also condemned the Israel’s ongoing and intensifying settlement activities in all manifestations in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, which constituted grave breaches of international humanitarian law.
Syed Maaz Mahmood said the fire game that Israel has started will result in its destruction. He added that the process of hollowing out the foundations of Israel had begun already. The conscientious of the world will soon come together against the Zionists and their allies. Palestinians are not a nation, who can be easily swallowed by anyone. It is a hard nut to crack even for Israel, he noted.
APBF Chairman Ibrahim Qureshi said that the Israeli attacks on the territories were the result of this confusion. He saluted the courage of the resistance movements defending their geographical and ideological borders. At the moment, he said, every conscious Muslim in the world seems to be defending the principled position of his Palestinian brothers.
Syed Maaz Mahmood said that the silence of the so-called human rights activists on Israeli barbarism was exposing their prejudiced mentality. He told the Muslim world that it was time to wake up: if they do not open their eyes, their future generations will have to bear the brunt.
He appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government for standing with Palestine and constantly raising this issue on every forum. He said all Muslim countries of the world will have to unite for the cause of Palestine freedom.
APBF also appreciates Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi for holding a meeting with the Palestinian foreign minister and a plan to raise a common voice against Israeli aggression in United Nations.
He said that Israeli illegal policies and practices and expansionist plans in the occupied state of Palestine had endangered the international peace and security and threaten the prospects for attaining a peaceful solution to the conflict.
