A hope has been fulfilled a dream has be came realistically true and livelihood of several stone workers has been created ,as a trend has initiated and when an abandoned work of approximately 4 centuries has been restated which has created hope will give a trually shape not to the monuments of Thatta but also entire country to be repared as per their original shape.
The stone carving work had been deer from a long was creating difficulties for the archeology and antiquities department to preserve monuments in it’s real design and shape.But the newly stone carving work has given chance to archaeology a culture a d tourism department has made a way to preserve not only Thatta monuments but also to preserve all the country’s stone made historical places.
Allau Din Burfat is owner of this work who has employed a lot of labourers at his working places located at hilly strip of Thatta district being called Dadoori Patan in local language.He said his family was extracting red stone from a long time and these stones were being used in foundation of private and government buildings.
He said incidently once he went to Makli monuments and shocked by thier delipadeted condition and decided to prepare same design’s carved stones and established a stone cutting machine.
He said he has invested a lot of money over setting up the machinery and have employed several local men to work.He said Iam earning more much despite the expensive rates of labourers and fuel and other additional charges he added.
He said his carved stone is being supplied in entire country. He said monument of Easa Khan Turkhan II and historical Temple and Mosque of Nangar parker in Thar,historical monuments of Kalhora old rulers of Sindh and so many other old monuments have been preserves by his factory’s carved stones he told.
He said he is willing to cooperate to ensure preservation of all the stone monuments of country if government is taking intrest in my desire He said.
