The 45 days proposed public awareness and contact campaign motorcade long march of Sindh Action Committee (SAC) arrived in Thatta. Here on Saturday.
The long march was led by Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah convenor SAC that was participated by several leaders ,workers affiliated with several Sindhi nationalists parties, was taken out from Malir (Karachi) in protest against prevailing crackdown ,arrests ,lodging FIRs against Sindhi nationalist party workers and occupying lands of sindh by influential builder mafias .
The rally arrived outside Thatta press after completing distances of 80 kilometres and attended several corners gatherings in way ,like Ghaghar Railway crossing,Dhabajee market, Gharo, Gujjo,Makli etc.
The speakers including, chairman Sindh United party(SUP) Syed Jalal Mehood Shah, Qadir Magsi chairman Sindh Tarqi Pasand party (STP),Riaz Chandio of JSM,Nawaz Khan Zaour,Siraj Chandio,Aslam Khairpuri and others in their address said that sindh was being pushed to wall by a preplanlled conspiracy aimed to turn it as demographically changed and occupy it’s lands.
They said the time was ripe the people of Sinsh should get United to confront such tactic of land mafias for the sake of motherland.
They said sindh was facing to much other problems particularly worst water shortage,unemployment, lawlessness,price hike but both the PPP and PTI governments respectively in Sindh and centre have done nothing to resolve the issues faced to people of sindh. The participants were warmly welcomed in Thatta with rose Patels. At last it left to Sujawal to it’s next destination.
