No decision taken for granting amnesty to Proscribed TTP: Sheikh Rashid

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said no decision has been taken for granting amnesty to the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

“ no decision has been taken for granting amnesty to banned TTP so far. Its 550 people are involved in cases here and they will not be pardoned”, he said this while talking to a private TV channel here Thursday.

About chairman NAB he said possibility is there that the extension is granted to sitting chairman in his service.

He went on to say it has been proved how India caused harm to Pakistan. How our image was tarnished through fake IDs and e-mails. The entire Indian planning was aimed at causing harm to us.

He underlined a front has been evolved against Pakistan. British ambassador had said that nothing was there on their part. We should now forget New Zealand team departure and go ahead.

He remarked India wants to inflict grave harm on Pakistan image. It is full endeavor of the enemy that Pakistan image is tarnished at every cost.

Regarding Afghanistan he said 22 days have passed since Taliban has taken over government. The world wants to see immediate change in the situation at Afghanistan. India wants Pakistan and Afghanistan should have similar image.

He underlined if Taliban meet the world agenda then Afghanistan will make progress.
