ISLAMABAD : PPP has called for holding an inquiry into gas crisis saying an immense gas crisis is going to hit the country in the winter season due to ill conceived policies of Tabahi sarkar.
“ government has decided to observe gas loadshedding for 15 hours before advent of winter, this was said by PPP central leader Senator Sherry Rehman in a statement here Tuesday.
She remarked the industries and stoves are becoming shut due to incompetence of the government. The gas price has been increased over 350 percent during the last three years.
She deplored government on one side is jacking up the prices of the gas and on the other hand it is not supplying gas to the citizens. The government is repeating these mistakes since the last three years.
What science lies in purchasing LNG Cargo on time, she questioned. This government could not understand any thing during 3 years.
She regretted that expensive gas was purchased and this way huge loss of billion of rupees was caused to national exchequer. On the other hand loadshedding gift was given to the people.
Why no inquiry is being conducted against the Tabahi sarkar on purchasing costly gas, she questioned. Inquiry be held into gas crisis, she demanded.
