PESHAWAR
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Shah Farman on Saturday conducted a quarterly review meeting of federal departments at Governor House Peshawar.
The meeting, chaired by Shah Faramn, reviewed the quarterly performance of federal departments related to public service delivery and resolution of public grievances.
On the occasion, Governor-KP was briefed and separately a quarterly report of the departments concerned was also presented and discussed. Governor-KP said government departments should ensure public service delivery and ensure public service. He said federal government officials must also improve attitudes towards public service, adding that first of all as a governor I also present myself for accountability.
The culture that has existed in government institutions in the past has to be eradicated.
The Governor said that although we all have different roles in public service, we all have the same responsibility.
The meeting was attended by Accountant General KP Murtaza Khan, Principal Secretary to Governor Mahmood Hassan, Additional Secretary Governor Saif-ul-Islam and heads and representatives of WAPDA, Sui Gas, NADRA, NHA, FIA, Post Office, Railways and other federal departments.
It should be noted that under the Pakistan Citizen Portal Dashboard, governors have been given the power to review the quarterly performance of federal departments in the provinces.
