Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) on Monday appointed Muhammad Asim Cheema as president of party’s lawyers’ wing.
According to details, Cheema, a seasoned lawyer called on Speaker Punjab Assembly and PML-Q leader Parvez Elahi.
Ch Parvez Elahi handed over notification of appointment to Asim Cheema.
Elahi talking on this occasion said that lawyers should continue to play their role in providing speedy and cheap justice, at this time the society needs a positive role of lawyers.
He said that the PML lawyers have always been followed positive politics which is why our party’s lawyers represent in all the lawyers’ organizations of Pakistan.
On the occasion, Asim Cheema thanked Ch Parvez Elahi and said that he would do his best to fulfill the trust placed in him by the party and I will highlight the party’s manifesto and services to the lawyers’ community.
