Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Wednesday visited various areas of the provincial capital for assessing traffic management and its flow.
On this occasion, Abbas Majeed also met with traffic officials and other personnel on Motorway, Ring Road, GT Road and Charsadda Road and checked the diversion plan while also reviewing the traffic system.
He directed the officials to ensure uninterrupted flow of traffic in the city and directed that there should be no rush anywhere in the city and said that the citizens should not face any difficulty.
He said that entry of heavy vehicles in the city has been closed for smooth traffic, adding that vehicles coming from the motorway to GT Road can come down from the Northern Bypass through Chamkani turn and use the GT road towards the city while using the Ring Road for Hayatabad.
Similarly, vehicles going from Dila Zak Road to Motorway via Charsadda Road or GT Road should use Northern Bypass.
He said that social media sites are fully operational to ensure the flow of traffic throughout the city which can be availed by the citizens.
Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat directed to avoid unnecessary travel on the day of the PPP public meeting.
