Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Monday visited different localities of the provincial capital to review traffic management system and implementation traffic rules on the roads.
In this connection he visited to Hayatabad, Town, Tehkal, Saddar and Charsadda Road to review the ongoing campaigns related to traffic systems and implementation of traffic rules. Abbas Majeed inspected the process of removing tinted windows from vehicles and used seat belts and helmets and used tinted windows and directed the authorities tocontinue the ongoing campaigns.
He said that the use of tinted glasses was an offense and no concession will be made to those who use it. Abbas directed the authorities to take strict action against the violators of the nine parking zones and ensure parking in the plazas.
The Chief Traffic Officer has said that all capabilities should be utilized to improve the uninterrupted flow of traffic and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
He said that staff of City Traffic Police Continue to raise awareness for enforcing traffic laws and eliminating encroachments across the country as better results are emerging.
