Islamabad: Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts the country today (Wednesday), state media reported. According to a media report, smog was likely to intensify in plain areas of Punjab during morning and night hours. Temperature of some major cities recorded Tuesday morning as Islamabad six degree centigrade, Lahore twelve, Karachi seventeen, Peshawar eight, Quetta three. According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula and Srinagar, partly cloudy and very cold weather is forecast in Leh and cold and dry weather is expected in Jammu during morning hours.
