A rally was held from city park to tower roundabout in connection with International Anti – corruption Day on Thursday. It was led by Deputy Commsisioner kashmore Munawar Ali Mithyani and Circle Officer Anti – Corruption Establishment (ACE) kashmore Shahid Bashir khoso.
However all walks of life including various officials, members of civil society, local journalists, traders, teachers students from different schools and colleges and others participated in the “Say To No Corruption” walk. On occasion, they were carrying banners and play cards in theri hands while inscribing slogans against the corruption.
Talking to newsmen Deputy Commsisioner kashmore and Circle Officer ACE told that corruption is a evil and also bad practices, decay trust and showcases the dishonesty on person in authority. It is our prime responsibility to play a vital role in eradicating corruption from the society.
If we have to count to our region, state and country as more developed, civilized as well as powerful throughout world then first to stop the corruption from the society. On other hand people of civil society explained corruption is a phenomenal act that has flooded across country.
There are several methods of corruption while there is most common is bribery.’”there is no specific punishment for corruption or government servent who had been taken bribe in our country’! they said ironically but in other countries especially in europe there is a proper law for suitable punishment.
The main reason behind the corruption is failing of the present generation who don’t condemn of corrupt activities as there are no any strong civil societies to rebuke and oppose the corrupt leaders, bureaucrats officials and NGOs and others this promotes the flourishing of this behavior in generation.
Corruption is unprincipled and unfair means of earning benefits since this is a very serious issue that must be addressed before we lose everything. Finnally they appealed to citizens to perform their role in eliminating of corruption from the society.
