A man was shot dead over petty dispute of exchange of hot words here on Saturday, police said.
According to details, the incident took place in Gar Dheri area of Swabi where two persons exchanged hot words some two days earlier.
Over the same dispute, accused Nasir gunned down Noman and fled the scene of crime.
The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and police after registering a case against the culprit started raids for his arrest.
