Jalil-ul-Mulk announces withdrawal in favour of Zahir Shah

Mardan Tehsil mayor ship independent candidate Jalil-ul-Mulk on Monday announced to withdraw in favour of independent candidate Zahir Shah in the local body elections. Addressing a news conference Jalil-l-Mulk made the announcement.
Central Secretary Information of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan Maulana Shujaul Mulk and Independent candidate Zahir Shah also did a news conference.
Mulk said that the PTI government has completely failed while the opposition is also suffering from mental conflict.
He added that masses are also disappointed from the opposition party alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
He added that masses of the country are aware that PDM is raising slogans and fighting for their personal interest.
Mulk added that due to this reason the masses did not participate in the rallies held at Peshawar and Mardan.
Addressing the news conference independent candidate for the slot of mayor Mardan Zahir Shah said that he would contest the elections against the ruling party and the opposition party’s candidates.
He added that he will win the mayor election because the people have no hope for ruling and opposition parties. He thanked Jalil-ul-Mulk for withdraw in favor of him. He added that we will fight together for this seat, people are very angry with all political parties.
He added that inflation and unemployment have made life difficult for the people. He added that ruling party candidates, provincial ministers, members of national and provincial assemblies violated the code of conduct of election but the election commission has closed their eyes. He demanded the election commission to take action in this connection.
