ISLAMABAD
Prime Minister Imran Khan has welcomed renowned political figure from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ghazanfar Bilour, to the fold of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The prime minister expressed this during a meeting with Ghazanfar Bilour who along with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mehmood Khan called on him on Tuesday. During the meeting, the political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, progress of the ongoing development projects and the measures taken to improve governance in the province were also discussed.
Separately, Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday. He briefed the Prime Minister about the International Maritime Organization’s elections.
Besides, the prime minister was briefed on the sideline meetings with the ministers of transport of the United Kingdom, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Maldives during the IMO Convention to get Pakistan a greater share in the international maritime transportation business. TLTP
