The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommended an Rs8-10 per litre decrease in the petroleum products. According to sources, a summary has been prepared regarding the prices of petroleum products. The new prices for next 15 days will be announced soon. The OGRA has prepared 3 proposals regarding the prices of the petroleum products. According to sources, the petroleum products have reduced by 10 percent to US$74 per barrel. The government had purchased oil at US$68-74 per litre.
Owing to an increase in the levy, the Petroleum, Oil, & Lubricants (POL) products prices are likely to be increased by Rs4 per litre.
