84970 new M-tags were registered in compare to the last 6 days

It has been decided to Increase the number of toll booths and M-tag stations within the cities

Inspector General of National Highways and Motorways Police Inam Ghani categorically said that 84970 new M-tags were registered for entry on motorways in compare to the last 6 days as in last 6 days only 6390 M-Tags were registered.
It means 78580 new M-Tags were registered. This is a testament to the fact that the public is fully cooperating with the National Highways and Motorways Police by using M-tags on their vehicles to travel hassle and tension free on Motorways.
Inspector General Inam Ghani further said that due to the increasing trend of commuters applying for M-tags, it has been decided in a meeting with concern authorities to increase the number of toll booths and M-tag stations within the cities to provide more convenience to the people applying for M-tags.
It’s happening because our general public is taking interest, resulting in less queues and waiting times at toll plazas have been reduced significantly. In order to implement the court order with true spirit the motorway police is raising awareness among the public through electronic and print media through social media and through live radio FM -95.
It may be recalled that according to the court order, entry of vehicles without M-tag on the motorways is strictly prohibited. Inspector General further said that people should keep on cooperating NHMP by registering for M-Tag at earliest.
