7 trucks, food items, medicines donates to Afghanistan

Seven trucks edibles, medicines and blankets were donated to Amarat-e-Islam, Afghanistan here at Pak-Afghan sharing border last day. In this connection a simple gathering was organized that was attended by the officials of Pak-Afghan Cooperation Organization, Khadejatul Kubra Welfare Trust and administrative and forces officials. Mr Muhammad Naseem Ahmadi,a representative of Afghan government joined the moot. Speaking on the occasion Mufti Tariq Masood of Khadejatul Kubra said that on human base the food package and medicines have been donated to the Afghan people to assist them in the time of need.
He urged the philanthropists to come forward and help their Afghan brothers and sisters.
Mr Muhammad Naseem Ahmadi, on behalf of Afghan government received the package thanked for the generous help and said that more than one million children face shortage of food.
Afghanis have been surrounded by the hardship while the United Nation and the civilized nations act as silent spectators that is injustice to them, he added and asked the world nations to extend every possible assistance to the people of Afghanistan.
At the end the food package, comprising food items, medicines, blankets etc. were handed over to the representative of the Afghan government.
