The police on Saturday carried out a flag march in the provincial capital to further strengthen the sense of security among the citizen and send a clear message to ant-social elements before the local body polls.

An armored persons carrier followed by police motorbikes and vehicles and the officers participated in the flag march.
The flag march started from Malik Saad Shaheed Peshawar Police Line to Charsadda Road, Ring Road, GT Road, Chamkani, Gulbahar, Lahore Gate, Circular Road, Kohat Road Bridge to Ring Road, Pushtkhara Chowk, Hayatabad to Jamrud Road and back to University Road.
Divisional SPs, SDPOs, Ababeel Squad, City Patrol Force, ATS teams, RRF and other units attended the march.
The flag march was attended by a large number of police mobiles equipped with modern and automatic weapons, police and motorcyclists of Traffic Riders Squad, which gave the impression to the citizens of Peshawar that Peshawar Police is committed to holding peaceful local body elections.
On the occasion of the flag march of the police force, the citizens were overjoyed and showed keen interest. On the occasion of the march, on the inner city and other highways, the citizens waved their hands in response to the slogans of the policemen and chanted national slogans.
