A light show, in connection with the Quaid-Day was held in Islamabad under the auspices of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri who was chief guest on the occasion said all citizens living in the country have equal rights as envisaged in our constitution and teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The Deputy Speaker said Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah gave a country where we can live in social, political, moral and economic ways while remaining committed to the basic principles of Islam.
Quaid-e-Azam’s messages were specially displayed at the event. Parliament House and other buildings were decorated with electric lights.
